How to resend a campaign

There are times when you might want to resend a campaign or create a similar variant to maximize your reach. Whether it's to engage new subscribers or to target contacts who didn’t open the initial email, Marketune offers flexible options to resend your campaign effectively.
To access the resend campaign feature, go to Campaigns in your Marketune dashboard and locate the campaign you want to resend. Click on the arrow next to the campaign on the right and this will open a drop-down menu. Select the resend campaign from the menu.
In the window that appears, you will see three different sending options. Each option is designed to target a specific group of contacts.
1. Create a new campaign based on this campaign
This option creates a copy of your previously sent email. You can then edit the content, subject line, and other details before sending it to a list or segment of your choice. It is ideal for making slight modifications or A/B testing different versions of the same email.
2. Send to new contacts
This option allows you to resend the same email to anyone who joined your list after the campaign was initially sent.
Please note that if the original campaign used a segment with an ‘OR’ condition, this option is not available. In such cases, use the Create a New Campaign option instead. Also you can change the campaign name and edit the subject line. This is a good option for keeping new subscribers engaged without creating a brand-new email and ensures that late joiners receive important updates or promotions they missed.
3. Send to contacts who have not opened this campaign
It targets contacts who received the original email but did not open it. This gives you another chance to capture their attention. You can change the campaign name and edit the subject line to make it more compelling. In this option campaign is also sent immediately.
Please note if the original campaign used a segment with an ‘OR’ condition, this option is not available. Use the Create a New Campaign option in this case.
